SUPPORT
If you have problems using the IAR tools, there are several sources of information that can be useful.
Documentation
A rich source of information are the extensive product manuals (including release notes) as well as online help. User guides and release notes can both be reached via buttons to the right, online help can be reached from within the IAR Eembedded Workbench (help menu as well as pushing function button F1 in most contexts).
TechNotes
On www.iar.com/support you can find tech notes providing assistance beyond the material that is included in the product. Some TechNotes are answers to Frequently Asked Questions. Tech notes can also be reached via button to the right.
Support
Depending on your history with support, e.g. how you have acquired your product, you may already have an established support contact. If not, the recommended way to get support is to use supp.iar.com/Support/Request, at least for the first contact. If you prefer other ways, there is an up-to-date list of contact information on www.iar.com/support.
If you provide name, version and license number it helps us providing timely support.
For the actual issue, it is often very helpful if we get enough information to re-produce the problem.
