User guide corrections
The corrections below refer to the PDF version of the user guide SC14 IAR Assembler Reference Guide for SC14xxx Co-processors, ASC14-1.-
Descriptions of the assembler option -v, page 18.
Add the following text:
The location of the .chp file is pointed out by a registry entry. You should only specify the name of the .chp file, without the filename extension, as an argument to the -v option.
If you want to override the location pointed out by the registry entry, you should specify the full path to the .chp file.
Miscellaneous
- Nothing.
Release history
V3.10 - 2011-03-03
-
None.
V2.20 - 2009-04-02
Program corrections-
None.
V2.12A - 2007-08-21
New features-
Support files for SC14450 and SC14480 added.
V2.11A - 2006-05-16
Program corrections-
The SC14 assembler did earlier not work on Windows ME.
[EW16166]
- The behaviour of the command line option -v has changed to make it possible to override the registry key that points out the SC14 co-processor instruction set files (*.chp).
V2.10A - 2004-05-06
-
None.
V1.20A - 2003-06-25
Program corrections-
The SC14 assembler operation code for the B_ST2 instruction was incorrect.
[EW13259] -
Instructions that have one operand with less than 8 bits where not handled correctly by the assembler. The affected instructions where M_CON, A_RX, A_TX, and B_ST2.
[EW13988]
V1.13A - 2002-10-04
Program corrections-
If a floating-point constant was defined in a constant definition directive of smaller size, for example DB or DW, an internal error was previously generated. A syntax error is now correctly displayed instead.
Using floating-point constants is not meaningful in the SC14 assembler. If a fixed-point constant is wanted, the DQ15 directive must be used.
[EW11398] -
The parameter for the WSC instruction was previously missing in the SC14428.chp file.
[EW11829] -
Incorrect code was earlier generated for the instructions LLSO and LHSO.
[EW12074] -
The DIP instruction M_CON previously did not accept the argument values {1,2,3}. Now, it accepts all valid arguments.
[EW12210] -
When an expression on the format:
(constant - (label +/- constant))
was placed inside another operator, for instance a shift, a bad segment number was previously inserted into the object output file (UBROF). This caused the linker to report a fatal error.
For example:RSEG DIP_CODE START_ADDR: DW (0x1FFF - (START_ADDR - 0)) >> 1
